Max H. Glover organized a bucket list wall in Fredericksburg, VA. That’s my mother sitting on the sidewalk after having written “NOT BE EATEN BY ZOMBIES” on the wall.
My lovely mother took me out to dinner today since I was in the neighborhood for my dentist appointment.

Oh my GOD I want this lens. I have been wanting it since probably a year ago at least, if not more. Should I???? I have a large tax refund coming my way, but will also have a large hotel bill to pay in June!
I FOUND IT!! AHHHH!
I suppose I’ll try this photo a day May photo challenge thing.
#1. Self Portrait
Went for a little walk around campus today. There are some nice little flowers and such.
This always makes me think of my special someone. :)
Just some stuff around the shop.
I did even better with the salmon tonight!
Comparison of images from my Olympus E-PM1, and the iPhone camera.
Two fiddles on the bench today. :)
Again with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 with adapter on the E-PM1… since it’s the cheap adapter, not the $500 one, the lens is always wide open. Which is fine, because I like this depth of field!

This was my night. :) That’s Rhys Jones on fiddle, and Joe The Bass on his nifty old Martin archtop, circa 1935.
I don’t usually play old time, so it was a bit out of my comfort zone, but I am used to picking up tunes quickly… in Irish music, you only have about three times through to get it! So the many many many multiple repeats of old time make it easier! I will say though, cross-tuning fucks with my mind. Hear a note, put finger where that note SHOULD be, but WHOOPS, it’s NOT THERE ANYMORE.
